Summer Flowers
Just so I'll remember in my old age what the flowers looked like, I'm posting this. JoAnn does the flowers while I work in the vegetable garden.

Garden June 1 and 8, 2012
This year I got the earliest start ever on the vegetable garden. Usually, I'm just getting started on June 1. However, this year being so dry, I had the garden tilled and the peas planted on St. Patrick's Day. From right to left: peas, carrots, onions, potatoes, beans, misc. flowers, peppers to the south and corn to the north, radishes to the south and corn to the north, and two rows of tomatoes. In the space to the far north, we have pumpkins, watermelons, sunflowers, and a couple of squash.

As you can see, I irrigated this morning. The snow peas are ready to pick, I've been pulling onions out for two weeks.

School Photos for PJ
Since It has been over six months since I've posted anything, I have a backlog of photos I've taken of PJ in his kindergarten class. What do you think of his penguin poster? I helped him make it with the stuff his mom sent with him for the weekend.
